Draft report describes malicious emails to panel members and extended attacks against defense sector
Cyberattacks by North Korean hackers against defense industries around the world have become a clear trend in 2020, according to an unreleased report by the United Nations’ Panel of Experts. In a draft seen by NK Pro, the panel said groups like Lazarus and Kimsuky continue to operate under North Korea’s Reconnaissance General Bureau (RGB), and linked its hackers to a cyberattack against panel members in Oct. 2020.
