Ukraine Claims Russian General Killed Near Kharkiv, Un Calls For Safe Aid Delivery To Ukraine Combat Zones | #cybersecurity | #cyberattack

Russia Ukraine War Live:

Ukraine’s defence intelligence service reported on Monday that Ukrainian soldiers killed Russian Army Major General Vitaly Gerasimov, as well as other top Russian Army commanders, in fighting near Kharkiv. Gerasimov was identified by the intelligence agency as the chief of staff and first deputy commander of the 41st Combined Arms Army.

As discussions on Ukraine stalled amid efforts to agree on civilian safe passage, Moscow warned that a Western blockade on Russian oil imports might more than double the price to $300 a barrel and force the shutdown of the main gas pipeline to Germany.

Russia’s invasion, the worst attack on a European state since WWII, has resulted in 1.7 million refugees, a slew of new sanctions on Moscow, and worries of a bigger battle in the West that hasn’t been imagined in decades. The sieges and bombings resumed as Kyiv rejected potential humanitarian corridors to Russia and Belarus, but stated some work had been made on logistics for civilian evacuation.

Russia on Tuesday also declared a ceasefire amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine from 10 am (Moscow time) to provide humanitarian corridors in the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Mariupol, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia said in a statement.
