The Android Freak, 1 hour agoXiaomi actually charged at 80Watt rate. Not 120Watt. Red Magic 6 will be the same.

Much like Windows.

30Watt is fast enough. Don’t need anything more than that. 50Watts on Realme X2 Pro is still quiet fast in my opinion.

Anonymous, 3 hours agoNice. Get up in the morning. Charge the phone for 10-15 minutes. Good to go for the rest of the day.Or, there is this period of multiple hours when you are idle and don’t use your phone that happen just before you woke up.

I’d prefer by far a phone that have a good and smart battery management where it would put the battery to “storage charge” (50%) then slowly charge until either 100% or the upper limit set by the user (to further care for the battery) during the night, over any fast charging.

Don’t get me wrong, fast charging have its advantages, but it also has some severe cons, so it shouldn’t be mandatory but rather an option to toggle.

120 watts is allot for charging, allot for a phone and allot of electricity, this increases the chances of fires (not saying it is very likely, but still) not only that, but it shortens battery life fast as hell too. and with that much electricity going to a phone, you could risk yourself getting exploded in the face, i mean honestly, 120 watts is a friggin lot (Sorry for redundancy) this can also heat up the phone badly, which will shorten it’s life overall, so yeah.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Hopefully soon. Also modularity will still depend on willingness of vendors to even bother updating anything.

I’m guessing due to this phone being a “Gaming Phone” it will probably be battery hungry and not last all day. Fast chargers are only good if they can top up a large battery, but opting for a smaller mAH capacity is no excuse to couple the sale with a fast charger.
