New York Judge Conditionally Lifts Trump Contempt Order in Civil-Fraud Probe | #phishing | #scams

A New York judge on Wednesday said he was lifting an order finding Donald Trump in contempt of court, so long as the former president meets certain conditions and pays $110,000 in fines by next week.

State Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron said in a written decision that by May 20, Mr. Trump must pay the fine and submit additional affidavits about his efforts to comply with a subpoena he received from New York Attorney General Letitia James in her civil-fraud probe of the former president and his business. A third-party firm must also certify that its review of relevant documents is complete, the judge said.
