In a sign of the continuing expansion of an in-house counsel’s role, Greensboro, North Carolina-based The Fresh Market announced that a longtime in-house attorney at the company has been named deputy general counsel and the company’s first head of diversity.
Gerald Walden will lead the company’s diversity efforts, while having an elevated role in the legal department.
