Apart from attacking and defacing Indian websites, DragonForce has issued a clarion call to other hacking groups, human rights organisations, and activists all around the world to the campaign that goes by the hashtag #OpsPatuk. It’s not just websites they are trying to hack and deface, DragonForce Malaysia has also leaked social media credentials of Indian nationals, including police personnel and username and password combos to SBI bank accounts.

DragonForce a Pro-Palestinian hacktivist group from Malaysia has shared a list of targets that they want to attack under the #OpsPatuk campaign. Apart from targeting Govt. websites and specifically BJP websites, the target list includes several logistics, supply chain companies, educational institutions, software and tech companies, and web hosting companies.

CLoudSEK has also found other threat groups have come out in support of DragonForce Malaysia, primarily from Malaysia or Pakistan. “In response to DragonForce’s clarion call, Team Revolution Pakistan has already hacked Time8, an Assam-based digital news channel. During a live news stream, the channel’s transmission was interrupted and replaced by Pakistan’s flag and background hymn praising Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”

Researchers at CloudSEK believe that its highly likely that DragonForce Malaysia’s activities will gain momentum in the coming days.
