JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State IT has an exciting new opportunity for an IT Project Manager. The eSignature Service Manager’s role is to manage the eSignature project, the eSignature platform, and associated customer engagements. The Service Manager will also oversee development of internal workflow applications using the Microsoft 365 Power Platform and integrations with the eSignature platform. The Service Manager will establish and provide oversight and strategic direction to the University for Penn State’s eSignature service offering. Initially, the Service Manager will oversee the deployment and integration of University wide eSignature platform. As the need for eSignature services and workflows increases, the Service Manager will help support and further the service evolution and enhancements to the eSignature platform to meet University and stakeholders’ goals and mission. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of transformational technology and have experience managing the transition of legacy solutions to cloud services.

Experience with service management of cloud solutions, including stakeholder and user communications, testing, documentation, user support, and vendor relationships is highly desired. The candidate must have demonstrated experience with project management skills, including Agile, and a strong understanding of business process analysis. This position requires strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and in a team environment; interact appropriately with specialized and non-specialized audiences; and handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail. The successful candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills, be flexible, maintain critical thinking abilities under pressure, and possess strong time-management and organizational skills. Receptivity to constant skill improvement and expansion of computer related knowledge is essential.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PMI certification or equivalent certification preferred.

Due to the 24/7/365 availability of University technology services, some work outside the regular work hours to solve operational problems, install new services, and perform upgrades is required.
