The Sport Values TV e-learning platform has recorded over 68,000 visits over a 12-month period.
David Esplá, managing partner at Interactvty, and the executive vice-president of the Real Madrid Foundation, Enrique Sánchez, signed the collaboration agreement between the two organisations at an event that was attended by Iker Casillas, the deputy to the director general of the Real Madrid Foundation. This agreement ensures the development of the Real Madrid Foundation’s Sports Values Academy e-learning platform, with the support of adidas. The link-up will ensure that the Foundation’s videos, content, workshops, courses and activities are freely and simultaneously accessible across the world.
Based on the Real Madrid Foundation’ global educational training philosophy and the Por una educación Real: Valores y Deporte (For a Real education: values and sport) methodology, the OTT is primarily aimed at educators, sports coaches, trainers and parents. The platform also includes content designed for the participants in the socio-sporting projects, in view of the fact that “technology is a great partner when it comes to education and education in values through sport is one of the Real Madrid Foundation’s main objectives to be able to reach more children each season and change their lives,” commented Casillas.
The courses, workshops, videos, activities and other educational resources based on the Foundation’s Por una educación REAL: Valores y deporte methodology will continue to be universally accessible, serving to facilitate links and communication with all of the coaches involved in the Foundation’s projects across the world and other stakeholders.
