Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes will this week mark the grand opening of a new conference center. Our partners at WTHI-TV report the $2.5 million Charles C. Hedde Health Education Center will support the hospital’s residency program.
The facility was built adjacent to the hospital. It includes three separate rooms, which can be combined into different configurations and are equipped with state-of-the-art technology
Funding for the project came form the Good Samaritan Foundation.
“Virtually every employee, every trained person will have some time that they will spend in here for education or training,” Gary Hackney with the Good Samaritan Foundation told WTHI.
Hospital residents have already begun learning at the facility. The hospital will hold a grand opening ceremony Friday evening.
