When Melbourne was plunged into another lockdown, mum Jay decided to turn her frappé into an alcoholic treat and shared the idea on TikTok

Bailey’s is a popular alcoholic drink flavoured with cream, cocoa and Irish whiskey and is owned by Diageo.

The video has since gone viral and been watched more than 285,000 times, with many wanting to make the alcoholic frappé for themselves.

‘Yep on my way to Macca’s now! Thank you!’ one person wrote.

‘I’m definitely going to try this,’ another said.

‘That would be cool but with red velvet cupcake flavour Baileys,’ a third suggested.

Adding alcohol to the frappé no longer makes the drink suitable for anyone under the age of 18 to consume.

According to the Australian Government Health Department, adults should limit their alcohol consumption and consume no more than ten standard drinks per week or no more than four in any one day.

Alcohol also increases the heart rate, dehydrates the body, impairs sleep and cognitive function and hinders muscle growth.
