While the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak has dramatically increased the number of employees working from home (or working from anywhere else outside of the traditional office environment), don’t expect organizations to return to the status quo once the pandemic ends. A recent Gartner survey found that 82% of companies plan to permit employees to work remotely at least part of the time after the coronavirus runs its course, and 47 percent intend to offer full-time remote work options moving forward.
But instead of seizing the opportunity to fully transform operations and maximize productivity for a world in which work-from-anywhere is the new normal, too many businesses implemented temporary workarounds as they scrambled simply to survive the pandemic. As a result, many trusted advisers were inundated by customers with a litany of technology questions, and many clients were left vulnerable and forced to make decisions on the fly, without the level of information and insight to which they’ve become accustomed.
A new way of working demands new, comprehensive solutions. Join Channel Partners/Channel Futures and Ooma for answers to the burning questions facing all companies as work-from-anywhere flexibility becomes the rule, not the exception. Topics include:
- How telecommuting has transformed business operations, and what additional changes lie ahead
- Why organizations must address work-from-anywhere access as a universal/global experience, not just a regional issue
- How to meet your customers’ evolving technology, security and communication needs
