A convicted child predator has been arrested on new charges involving a juvenile victim.
Robert Bridges, 36, of Benton, was booked into Bossier Parish Maximum Security Prison Friday, charged with two counts of First Degree Rape (Victim Under 13 Years Of Age), three counts of Oral Sexual Battery and three counts of Indecent Behavior With Juveniles.
This is not Bridges’ first brush with the law in relation to a child-related sexual offense.
According to public records, Bridges was convicted in 2017 for Indecent Behavior With Juveniles in a case for which he was accused of sending sexually explicit messages to a juvenile while she was in school. Bridges was reported to be living in Mooringsport at the time of his arrest.
Bridges is held on the latest charges with a bond totaling $900,000.
