NEW DELHI: India’s cyber-security agency CERT-In has issued a warning against the Google Chrome operating system, saying it could be “exploited by a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, execute arbitrary code or cause denial of service condition”.
CERT-In said that “multiple vulnerabilities” exist in Google’s Chrome OS and warned that a cyber attacker would exploit the gaps by enticing the victims to open specially crafted webpages. “Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to bypass security, or execute arbitrary code on the targeted system. ”
