The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about an ongoing email and phone call scam involving NortonLifeLock.Officials said the scammer tells the victim they auto renewed for the service and their card was charged for payment.The victim is then told they can cancel it by providing key financial information which scammers then use to steal funds.The sheriff’s office said it’s best to ignore these messages, or contact Norton directly.
