Call Of Duty Glitch Gives Nickmercs Dark Matter, Level 1000 On All Guns | #computerhacking | #hacking

Popular Call of Duty: Warzone streamer NICKMERCS is the victim of a glitch that has levelled his character and unlocked rare weapon skins.

An unusual glitch has given Call of Duty: Warzone streamer Nick Kolcheff maximum level and massively powerful guns. The YouTuber and Twitch streamer, commonly known as FaZe NICKMERCS, has reached notoriety by streaming games such as Warzone and FortniteCall of Duty: Warzone, which launched in March 2020, is a battle royale installment in the iconic first-person shooter series.

While he has gotten popular thanks to the game, NICKMERCS recently went on a hilarious rant about recent Warzone updates. After the release of Warzone‘s season two update, the streamer expressed his extreme displeasure while on stream. NICKMERCS compares the game’s update system to Fortnite, a fellow battle royale title that frequently changes its massive map to match new updates. While the eccentric streamer does have a fair enough point, he humorously proceeds to scream into his microphone to get his point across more loudly.

Twitter account Call of Duty News now reports that NICKMERCS has been affected by a hack or glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone. This hack instantly raises players to Level 1000 and unlocks Dark Matter cosmetic variations of all weapons. Call of Duty News suggests that this glitch may have affected NICKMERCS because he killed a hacker during gameplay, which somehow glitched his account as a result. Activision has not made statements regarding Warzone hackers in some time, so it is possible that NICKMERCS could be wrongfully banned from the game due to the effects of the glitch.

Call of Duty: Warzone has recently experienced a huge surge in hacker presence, with many consoles players hoping that Activision would remove cross-play to stop Warzone hackers on consoles. The game’s cross-play features allow gamers to play together regardless of what system they use to play Warzone. Unfortunately, this means that consoles players often play against PC players, and PCs are generally much easier to hack than consoles. Many players see this as an unfair advantage for those who play Warzone on a computer and suggest that containing gameplay to just consoles would reduce the number of hackers being encountered. Many professional players are also being accused of hacking, with NICKMERCS’ most recent glitch being just the most recent example. Recently, accusations of unfair play forced Warzone pro MuTeX to stream with five cameras to prove he was not cheating.

Call of Duty: Warzone‘s hacker community has grown significantly, and its presence is a detriment to other players’ experience of the game. Giving certain players an unfair advantage makes it impossible for others to have fun, and Activision has obviously not taken proper measures against cheating. NICKMERCS may be a recent and well-known example, but hackers affect every single one of the game’s dedicated playerbase.
