Avanan partners now have access to the company’s first partner program with dedicated channel sales, engineering and marketing resources.

The global partner program is led by Michael Lyons, Avanan’s vice president of global channels. Avanan provides cloud email and collaboration security.

The program offers VARs, MSPs and MSSPs an opportunity to offer Avanan’s pre-delivery protection. It stops delivery of malicious emails before they reach end-user inboxes.

More specifically, Avanan scans emails after default security, but before the inbox. That leads to a 99.2% reduction in phishing emails reaching the inbox.

Moreover, Avanan’s technology secures all enterprise collaboration apps like Microsoft Teams and file-sharing apps like Dropbox.

‘Time Is Right’ for Partner Program

Lyons said Avanan has sold through partners for many years, but this is its first formal partner program.

“We know there’s a tremendous market that only transacts through partners, but wanted to build awareness before formalizing our channel program,” he said. “Avanan has experienced close to 700% growth including onboarding over 4,000 new customers, so the time is right. With G2 and Gartner Peer Insights ranking Avanan as the No. 1 email security solution, the market and partner community are now aware of Avanan.”

In 2020, Avanan rolled out its partner portal. It helps Avanan partners to onboard and start selling. Moreover, it offers instant protection for end-users and increasing revenue for service providers.
